New Jersey Future 2017 Redevelopment Forum

Despite predictions for snowy weather, more than 500 people turned out for Redevelopment Forum in March 2017. They were treated to a day full of thought-provoking presentations and valuable insights in to the best way to move redevelopment forward in New Jersey as the state grows. New Jersey Future wanted an exciting way to share their 2017-2018 policy goals with the 2017 Redevelopment Forum participants. Working closely together, the team decided to develop a script and have male and female narrators to highlight a topic which could be difficult subject matter to a typical New Jersey citizen.  The video was also part of an objective to bring more partners together to talk with policymakers on issues of importance to the redevelopment community including; ideas around infrastructure issues, like water, roads and bridges, as well as land use policy and climate resilience to help foster economic vitality across the state. Smart growth is economic growth. New Jersey Future uses research, convenings and local technical assistance to further smart investments throughout New Jersey.
